老年性黃斑變性(AMD)是引起老年人視力損傷的主要原因，其流行病學調查顯示：AMD存在大量危險因素，主要包括個體因素，全身因素，眼部因素，環境因素以及基因因素。現將近年來有關AMD的流行病學研究進行簡要綜述。
