The increasing need for healthcare services in rural areas cannot be satisfied because of the lack of healthcare professionals, and poor medical education and training. These result in the low competency of rural healthcare workers. Therefore, the medical education system needs to be reformed in order to improve healthcare human resources in rural areas.

目的:調查本院門診糖尿病(DM)專科就診的DM患者,了解其糖尿病知識的掌握情況、血糖控制情況以及有無并發癥的發生,為今后DM患者的繼續教育提供依據和教育方向。方法:采用自行設計的三套問卷調查表對門診糖尿病專科就診的182例DM患者進行調查。結果:調查的182例DM患者中本巿113例,占調查總數的62.1%,調查糖尿病知識10項,本市調查人數中知曉率最高的為糖尿病的分型,占調查總數的34.6%,血糖控制理想(包括空腹與餐后2h)的本市調查人數14例,占本市調查人數的12.4%,本市調查人數中有并發癥26例,占本市調查人數的23.0%。外地(包括郊縣)患者69例,占調查總數的37.9%,其中接受過糖尿病健康教育的患者僅13例,僅占調查總數的7.1%。血糖控制理想(包括空腹與餐后2h)8例,只占外地調查人數的11.6%。有并發癥發生37例,占外地調查人數的53.6%。分析發現患者DM知識知曉率與其居住地、病程長短、職業、文化程度、是否接受過DM教育、是否接受過胰島素注射有密切關系。結論:DM患者對DM健康知識的需求仍然迫切,特別是外地患者,應加強外地患者的健康教育力度,做到人文化、個性化的健康教育。
