This paper briefly introduces the basic concepts, development history, basic principles, main treatment and evaluation technologies, development status, existing problems and development trends of aquatic therapeutic exercise, and summarizes the new progress of aquatic therapeutic exercise in basic medical research and evidence-based medical research through literature analysis.
